I really love gargoyles but I wanted to make something slightly more ‘elegant’ so decided on a dragon - if</span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: sans-serif; font-size: 15px;"> </span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: sans-serif; font-size: 15px;"> </span><span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-family: sans-serif; font-size: 15px;">dragon’s can be elegant!? After hours of hand sculpting and a bisque firing I used manganese oxide to pick out the detail but apart form that nothing else, keeping the clay as natural as possible to give a ‘stone like’ quality. (He measures about a foot long when viewed side on!)</span></span><br />
